They do not so this at the casino I work at ALWAYS TAKE YOUR CHIPS Casino is not liable for the theft or loss of your money Some may help locate large amounts of lost cash or may track your lost ticket and if the person who stole your money was dumb enough to stay the most the casino would do is make an approach on the person that stole your money and ask for it back if they don’t you can have the person file a police report and get a request for the video evidence but we cannot physically hold someone there only PD can do that

As a former surveillance employee, we see everything at the tables With that being said the people at the table will watch your chips and prevent anything from happening or letting the right people know what’s going on if someone try to take them If someone did we would be able to find them within the casino and have them arrested, but we are not responsible for recovering the amount of money you had or got stolen during that process

I've worked as an Attendant for 10 months and I can simply say that at the casino I work at its very high traffic so if you leave the table suddenly, you're required to put your chips inside a clear acrilic box and they lock it and keep it at the table until you get back (If it's a lot of chips)
