thoughts on a focus st mk2-3 ? looking at getting as my next vehicle, my coworkers veering me away from wanting a subie due to common issues he has mentioned with the motors and a few things As someone not mechanically experienced (yet), which would be more efficient of a route when it comes to money spent and reliability? 2015-2020 wrx - 2017-18 Focus St mk2-3 Comment from : Brendan Downham |

I always hate these lists because I pulled the shorter straw economically compared to typical countries, so my definition of cheap is what you consider junkyard status, while the cars you mention are the entire yearly salary or even more and basically as unobtainable as sth like a McLaren But hey, it is what it is right? Sure stuff like the civic exists, but they were never available or are just gone or super rare Comment from : TheLastCrankers |
GC8's now - 11 months later, have become $30,000+ for a club spec (1 to 4) and the 4 or 2 door STI is sitting between $60,000 - $100,000 Comment from : Goofy McAdams |

They always say "people who get a gti are people who couldn't afford a subaru" Comment from : Dani Khaos |
15:00 The money you'd spend on a FWD Lancer would be around the same money you'd spend on an AWD narrowbody Impreza It's naturally-aspirated, but it can fit most of the parts that would also fit the narrowbody WRX If you need more power, you could fit in a turbo straight from a WRX A good tune would even give it a smoother power curve than a WRX as the NA engines from these narrowbody Imprezas came with 101:1 compression ratios Subaru beat Mitsubishi here in every way Comment from : meischix |
Lol I looked the wrx up and all of them are 25000 used with a 129000 miles or more on them Comment from : Tyler ODonnell |

After working on my friend's MKIV Golf GTI, I would NEVER recommend one to anyone who doesn't want to deal with electrical issues forever as it ages They used that goofy biodegradable wire sheathing and they crumble to dust He asked me why his headlights weren't working once and when I popped the hood and dug into the wiring, most of them were BARE WIRES and what was left of the sheath crumbled away in my hands I had to completely redo al of the wiring for that, for some of the cooling fans, the horn and a bunch of other random stuff I can't remember now I can't even imagine what other wiring we can't see might be falling apart too AVOID the MKIV at the very least Of the few I have experience with actually working on, these were the ones that I cannot believe aged this way I love my 1994 300zx TT, but I know it is a bit of work and money to keep it on the road, so it's not for everybody Though the wiring on my car is still perfect after all the years and miles The GTI, not even close Comment from : Adam Richardson |

Can I just add the F3x BMWs? You can get 2013 model 320/328i BMWs for between $15000-$20000 brbrPowered by the Turbocharged 20 N20 engine, the 328 makes a little more power, very tunable and reliable enginesbrbrPractical - RWD with LSD 4 door sedan or wagon, manual or auto, huge community and aftermarket supportbrbramazing OEM+ options and upgrades, big brake kits, interchangable exhausts with more powerful modelsbrbra couple of bolt ons and HUGE support for OBD2 bluetooth OTS/Custom tunes right from your phone (plus an incredible amount of customization through "coding" to change and unlock so many features of the car)brbrI think a mid condition 2013 328i would take the #1 spot apart from price but still sub $20,000 Comment from : TS08 |
I watched the whole video hoping you'd say the golf gti! I bought my MK4 GTi for £2000 And extra 5-600 on mods and I have a sick looking golf pushing 245bhp Bang for buck on these really is insane For arguments sake also, here in Europe you can pick up an Audi TT with the 225bhp BAM engine for £2-3000 That's 225bhp stock, they map really well and have 4 wheel drive We are definitely spoilt for choice here compared to Australia though! Comment from : Banjo |
