I am very happy for the idea of India-Middle East-Europe Corridors, but I am in line with most people who don't think that the corridors will never be built The US has been debt ridden, Europe is in recession, the Middle East and India are not experienced in building infrastructure These factors, compounded with geographical problems with Iran and Turkey, ensure that the Corridors will fail

With the Suez Canal you only unload the ship once, but with this plan you have to unload twice to get goods from India to Europe, greatly increasing costs Saudi Arabia is extremely hot and laying tracks through the desert is expensive, there are security issues with passing the Levant, as the region is not stable Comparatively, the using the Suez makes more economic sense and has way less security issues

There is the Red sea and suiz canal route to Europe already this corridor is merely trade integration of the middle east the big thing about CPEC corridor is the Chinese trade volume, the Chinese exports alone are bigger than the whole of indian Economy realistically it is just a no good geopolitical move through a geo economic maneuver
