I'm a little surprised to see the Journey in the "avoid" column I had a 2013 SXT for about a year before I wrecked it, and I loved it while I had it Of course, a big part of that good impression was the Dodge keyless design which I'd never seen before It's really convenient to keep the key in your pocket all the time But it was also a comfortable ride with plenty of room in the back

I will definitely agree the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder I own is a mess to many problems to list from mysterious oil leaks that I can’t locate that cause oil to burn and the exhaust to smoke It’s noisy it’s a gas guzzling mistake so very very sad

I agree with everything on this list If I had to choose any used SUV, I’m choosing either a Honda Pilot or a Toyota Highlander because from what I know, they’re both comfortable and good to drive I have a Pilot myself from 2012 and it’s just as comfortable as my 2006 Honda Odyssey and drives better than almost any SUV I’ve been in However from what I’ve heard, getting a Highlander is probably worth giving a try

These are not SUVs These are Crossovers We test drove the highlander and it was way under powered and small for our needs in an SUV So we went with a true SUV, body on frame with a V8, the Sequoia platinum

I don’t believe this list one bit! The Pathfinder is super comfortable and super reliable Not a single issue since owning it for 5 years (2014 PF Platinum) and it rides as new as the day we bought it Great value overall but does not retain its value as well However, I paid $38k for mines fully loaded so $10k under MSRP, and Highlander was $47k with same equipment but without towing hitch or 360 camera, nor DVD player
