I know a guy who loves money too much but is a decent guy He just idolized people who are con artists without realizing they are shitty people and sees wealthy people as inherently good people even if they had to ruin lives to become wealthy It's the classic logic of " God rewards good people These people have good lives, so they must be good"

I don't agree You can do good things and be a kind person without a lot of money There are also studies which have demonstrated that large amounts of wealth can have negative effects on the way people behave I would posit that being a billionaire even if you are using some of your money for "charity" is usually that person hiding their money from taxes and using their money as a political tool I would say that a foster parent who gives multiple kids a safe, loving home over the years without having a lot of money does a lot more good than most of the multi-millionaire and billionaire philanthropists You have time and skills to do good with, not just money For anyone who is Christian remember Jesus saying that "It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter heaven"
