Research shows Formative Assessment is where it's at And the suggestions here are all pretty easy The problem is that kids worry a lot about being embarrassed and you can't rely on them to tell you how they are doing or risk getting called out That data is unreliable The data also needs to be trackable

Unfortunate use of gender when defining a 'poor' teacher, and a 'master' teacher You could also argue that the word 'master' also has gender connotations -Education is about language and representation - equality & diversity
