How about silver coins that have tarnished black? What works for you? Comment from : Harold Hunt |

Does anyone consider this to be diminishing the value of the coin itself? I have a friend that owns a coin shop and from what I hear, usually doing anything to coins (especially very old ones/relics) can potentially harm their value Especially if they're cleaned/shined up a bit using various applications I know there are a few tricks to cleaning old coins that aren't as noticeable or damaging and I would assume the olive oil wouldn't hurt it, especially with the results you've gotten from it I was just curious if you know about how that affects the value, if at all? I'm not sure if you're too concerned about resale value, I just thought it might be worth mentioning for those that are interested in buying/selling these types of coins Comment from : ORANGEGARBAGE07 |
