Graphics: Super Nintendo has (for the most part) more muted colors that are easier on the eyes, while GBA looks like an overexposed film brPresentation: Both have all the same levels (plus the extra world on GBA), same story and same overworld brSound: SNES has much better quality music compared to the GBA, even if Eveline Fischer composed most of it and went for a more atmospheric feelbrGameplay: Both games are practically identical in the gameplay departmentbrAt the end of the day, SNES wins to me for looking and sounding better

I like the SNES better The GBA version sounds more like Donkey Kong but it doesn't correlate with the settings that well The SNES has a more ambient style which is what the game is going for

What I've heard is that many people prefer DKC3 for GBA, not because of the technical side, not because of the new levels, not because of the new collectibles, but because the SNES version breaks with the tradition of the soundtrack being composed by David WisebrIn my personal opinion, the OST of the GBA version sounds horrible

I feel like there's a bias watching the GBA version on a large screen its meant to be played on a small screen Therefore, SNES wins I think SNES's soundtrack is better too Perhaps the GBA version could better to be played on a handheld, not that there's anything wrong with playing SNES games on a handheld too lol

I grew up with the gba version so I'm way more used to its music and sfx I didn't know about the snes version till much later Overall though I think the snes version is better

You can tell they knew the GBA may live longer than than the SNES version by its design The enemy colors, the lighter colored levels, they even gave David Wise the GBA audio just sayin my theory

GBA for sure There are a few things that are slightly worse due to the limitations of the GBA, but for the most part it has better graphics, better content, a better soundtrack, and slightly better physics and level design Practically no contest

The GBA version is the best looking version out of all the DKC Ports because it was released around the time the GBA had a backlight and it had extra content and the new music was composed by David Wise due to the SNES soundtrack having too low pitch and bass The SNES and GBA have their own advantages and disadvantages so I think each version is worth checking out I say this is my second favorite game in the DKC Trilogy 😊❤👍
